I am a freelance writer and editor aiming to live a balanced, calm, and healthy life. I maintain a whole-body approach to my health and well-being. I embrace alternative and holistic medicine as a pathway to true health, which I define as the connection between mind and body. I consider myself an “All Natural Gal” because I like all things as close to nature as possible.
In my attempts to maintain balance, I regularly practice yoga, tai chi, and meditation. I also have been integrating Buddhist practices into my daily thoughts. Activities that I enjoy range from long walks with my dog, swimming laps in my pool, and cooking healthy vegetarian dinners to reading books and traveling.
Along with my husband, our Collie mix dog, and our three cats, I live in New Orleans, where balance requires extra maintenance…but I remain optimistic and never let setbacks thwart my attempts of desperately seeking balance.
